Like other ocean lovers, living near the ocean has fed my spirit all my life. Breathing in the warm breezes and feeling the salty mist lightly crust my body feels like heaven.

I was born on the water in Texas but I’ve got some amazing family roots that affected my whole life…(more about that later…) My life has been a journey of exploring new horizons. Along the way, I’ve received a BFA in painting, spent 2 years studying American Impressionism methods, delved into abstract painting another 2 years, learned how to basket weave & dye art fibers, and even explored wax Batiking.

Exploring Art can take one through uncharted, turbulent waters, but a wonderful benefit is the new discoveries. Through meditation, I became aware that I could emotionally feel the different energies of colors as I painted. Using this gift to help others, my paintings became bridges for my collectors to help heal themselves. Simply being in the presence and enjoying the vibrant, high energy colors and unique healing qualities in my beautiful paintings brought soothing upliftment to many people.

Represented by some of the best galleries in Georgia, North Carolina and Florida, I had a prosperous 15 years with my unique healing impressionistic paintings. My paintings have been purchased by NBC, E-Z-Go, General Electric, Radisson hotels and many medical centers & hospitals. Art collectors from Puerto Rico to Japan have brought my paintings and I’ve been featured in magazines such as Southern Living.

Then in 1998, life threw me a curve when I was introduced and fell head over heels in love with glass. Manipulating molten glass is exhilarating and mesmerizing. I feel a strange bond with the molten glass, as if I’m literally part of the creative flow in birthing a new being into life. Learning how to master temperamental, live, molten glass into ocean creatures and luscious flowers has been my spiritual journey ever since.
