Wow! Look what Tammy did with my Lampwork Beads!

Tammy Scott “Spectra” lampwork beads

Tammy used rose bud lampwork beads that I created for her. “Spectra” is a large Mixed Media Wall Piece that she have been working on for a few months now.  She finally finished her and I was elated to see how gorgeous ‘Spectra’ turned out!!

The colors are so vivid, juicy & lush! And the textures of each item amazing.

 Have you found all the Rose Bud Lampwork Beads, yet?

She handmade all of the Polymer Clay Tiles and Crystal Clay tiles.  All of the animals are made from Polymer clay as well.  She said the most time consuming work was the bead work.

She used peyote stitch, brick stitch and raised texture beading.  Each piece took hours.

I’m sure those of you who do bead work can appreciate Tammy’s amazing work!

Tammy  incorporated metal leafs and lovely lampwork bead acorns and my rose lampwork beads (waahoo!).  She then added some fine stones of Sea Jasper and Russian Blue Tagilite.

You can tell this is a work of love!

Mix in plenty of Swarovski crystal and gemstone butterflies and TLC and you have Spectra.  She is 16” x 20”  The actual Fairy was made by Bridget Ashwood. Tammy thought it begged to be surrounded by Illuminated handmade tiles. I agree!… the collage glows with vibrancy and tiles perfectly sets off ‘Spectra’!

All I can say is… WOW!! Tammy!  I am totally BLOWN away with what you did with my glass lampwork beads!!

I’m sure this beauty will be winning awards like so many of your other art mixed media collages!
