I love antiques and twice a year antique dealers from all over the world gather at Round Top, Texas for 10 days to sell anything you can image! You could walk for days looking for the things you can’t live without and never cover the whole show (believe me, I’ve tried!)

bird houses

Plenty of colorful irresistible bird houses to be had!

The Mexican metal sculptures were selling like hot cakes! So much to choose from but finally this cool heron bird came home with me!

I saw some cool vintage jewelry made by ParisMontana.Blogspot.com jewelry designers from Arizona. They travel with an antique airstream trailer adorned with longhorns!

The police patrol was out and about in the usual Texan manner!

AND I managed to find some great gems stones to stimulate my creative juices!

Back at home, I dream of possibilities with my newly found treasure of garnets, bamboo coral, labradorite, fluorite, magnesite and aventurine.

It was a PERFECT day and “Thank You” Dennis (my sweet husband) for carrying my purchases and patiently waiting as I pick through each bead strand to get those perfect beads! (Each time I bought something, Dennis carried my treasure to our car & got a beer from our cooler! He was thrilled every time I bought something!:)
